Alliance Française dispenses classes which follow the « Common Framework of Reference for Languages » levels. You can validate your abilities at a given level by taking the DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) or the DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) exam.
With a passing mark of 50/100, you will obtain a life-long, internationally recognized diploma.

Different versions of the DELF are offered:
DELF Tous publics / DALF: for adults
DELF Pro: for adults who wish to validate abilities to interact in French in the professional world (A1 to B2 levels)
DELF Prim: for 7 to 12 year olds (offered for levels A1.1 to A2 [basic user])
DELF Junior: for 12 to 18 year olds. (A1 to B2 levels)

2013 registration fees: Fees are non-refundable. (Fees effective from January 1st to December 31st, 2013)
A1 or A2: $ 90
B1 or B2: $ 160
C1 or C2: $ 180

* Exam dates are determined a year prior to the exams taking place and are settled (as the exams take place on the same day and at the same time throughout the country).
* Registration fees must be paid in full by the registration deadline, a month prior to exams taking place.
